Carole Layzell has 29 years’ experience in the UK Retail Banking industry. She has led teams across face to face banking, back office operations and customer experience centres of excellence.
Carole is currently Digital Eagle & Proactive Engagement Director at Barclays, responsible for transforming colleague and customer experience in today’s digital age. She is passionate about increasing brand reputation and customer loyalty through proactive colleague and customer engagement. The key focus for Carole in her role is giving colleagues the tools to access the data, knowledge and skills they need to prosper in today’s digital world and allow meaningful conversations with customers.
Carole is a part of the Omni Channel & Customer Experience Team within Barclays UK, which owns the digital, physical and virtual customer channels and experience strategies for all of our customer interactions.
